Creamy Turkey & Veggie Soup (Copy)

Ingredients:
2 cups cooked turkey, shredded
1 tbsp butter or olive oil
1 onion, chopped
2 carrots, chopped
2 celery stalks, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
4 cups turkey or chicken broth
1 cup milk or cream (optional for creaminess)
1 cup leftover mashed potatoes or rice (optional for thickness)
Salt, pepper, and herbs (thyme or parsley are great)
Directions:
In a large pot, sauté onion, carrots, and celery in butter or oil until tender.
Add garlic and cook another minute.
Stir in turkey and broth; bring to a simmer for 15–20 minutes.
Add milk/cream and mashed potatoes or rice to thicken.
