How are the turkeys raised?

Our pasture-raised turkeys are rotationally grazed on our chemical-free pastures. In conjunction with their pastured diet they are also fed a non-GMO project verified grain. They are NOT given any growth hormones, antibiotics, or synthetic feed.

Being pasture-raised they live under the sunshine as nature intended. They forage so that means they eat the grassy green pastures and the insects & bugs; this in turn adds nutritional benefits to the meat and influences the flavor and quality of the meat overall.

How can I pre-order a Turkey?

You can order 3 different easy ways:

2. Mail-in completed pre-prder form with a $20 check. Click Here.
3. Print, fill in and bring the Pre-Order Form to us at any of farmers market locations or farm stand with a $20 payment. Click Here.

The $20 deposit secures you a turkey and is non-refundable. The remainder cost of the turkey is due when you pick it up.

How much are the turkeys? And what do they weigh?

The turkeys generally range from 15 - 25 lbs and the cost is $5.89 per lb.

*Please note that sizes are approximate.  We do our best to give you the closest weight to the size class you request, but please understand that due to the unpredictable nature of farming that we cannot reserve or guarantee exact sizes.

How are the turkeys sold?

Turkeys are sold frozen and will require you to defrost.

We have 4 Convenient Pick-up locations. They are as follows:

1 - Our Farm Stand @ Cloverbud Ranch, 430 Jepson Lane, Portsmouth, RI - Monday, November 19th, 4:00pm - 7:00pm

2 - Braintree Farmer Market, 1 JFK Memorial BLVD, Braintree MA - Saturday, November 17th, 9:00am - 1:00pm

3 - Marshfield Farmers Market, 140 Main Street, Marshfield MA, Saturday, November 17th, 10:00am - 2:00pm

4 - Plymouth Waterfront Harvest Market, Plymouth Plantation, Plimouth, MA - Sunday,  November 18th , 11:00 am - 4:00pm

5 - Brookwood Community Farm, 11 Blue Hill River Rd. Canton, MA - Sunday, November 18th, 10:30 - 2:00pm
